[Uml-user] Problems *using* umbrello-1.1

Okay, sorry I have asked, it was indeed a *stupid* question :o)

The real problem isn't association handling at all but the missing icons in 
the toolbar - reason why I had the feeling something was wrong. 
I read the FAQ and tried to configure the KDEDIRS variable... without success. 
The icons are here :
/usr/local/kde/share/apps/uml/pics
or here :
/usr/src/umbrello-1.1/uml/pics

I tried to set KDEDIRS to either value but I still haven't got any icons on 
the toolbar. I can use Umbrello without by try and guess :o) but if you know 
what I should do to get the icons, that would be great !
