[Uml-devel] Move Umbrello to git

Trust me, I just ended (professionally) developing/maintaining a KDE apps
outside of KDE for over 3 years (
http://dot.kde.org/2012/08/21/sflphone-kde-client-joins-kde-family ). It is
a nightmare. Getting translation is close to impossible (even if launchpad
offer such a service, KDE is better at it, I use both) and visibility is
totally nonexistent for non GTK apps on launchpad. Even if Umbrello
development is not as fast as it could be, moving away from KDE can only
make things worst. Git is currently the "de facto" SCM and have the most
mindshare. SVN currently limit Umbrello progress because it put peoples
off. Hg or bzr would too, probably less, but would have a negative impact
because almost every KDE devs now use Git.

Then there is also all other services provided by KDE like CI and Krazy2.
They are fine tuned for Qt/KDE apps. Launchpad is tuned for GTK, if
anything.
