Related to this: I have setuped a (temporary) auxillary project on 
https://gitorious.org/umbrello/testdata for collecting xmi test files. 
This will give us a chance to check umbrello's implementation in 
relation to xmi loading and import robustness.  Later the content of 
this repo may be added to the umbrello source repo, which could be easy 
be done with git.
There are already some of the 3rdparty tools file, which are not 
loadable in recent umbrello versions.
I also added some basic xmi files to be able to see how umbrello's 
drawing is compared with other tools.

Feel free to add additional files.
