Can you explain this more?  The arrow.png mouse-cursor button icon
hasn't been changed.  The mouse cursor images themselves have been
changed, are you sure you've done a 
 "make -f Makefile.cvs; ./configure; make install" 
on them?

I'm not sure what you mean by dialogue icons, there arn't any.
