The textual input at the message is broken,
and to solve this cleanly we need a major
overhaul of the FloatingText class.

OTOH, I cannot reproduce the missing associations
with current CVS.

Could you please do the following:
1. Try again with current CVS.
2. If you continue to see problems, create an XMI
   file attachment to this bug so that others have
   a chance of reproducing it.
