Summary: integration of umbrello and kdevelop
           Product: umbrello
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: umbrello-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: janne.karhunen at pp.htv.fi

Version: pre-1.2 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc-3.3-26 SuSE
OS: Linux

Would be absolutely great to have umbrello integrated with kdevelop on
many levels:

- Project files. Build association¹ with uml files and kdevelop projects.
  - To be able to open kdevelop with a proper project from umbrello and
    the other way around
  - Side track: open up kdevelop project file from umbrello to have it
reverse-engineer project headers if no association¹ is found.
- Class browser. Click class to move focus to its header file in kdev;
click method to point out its implementation (ctags stuff) etc
- Version control integration (through kdevelop ?)
- Code generation / build structure integration
..

Now THIS would be *the* IDE. You can probably figure out million ways
this idea could be extended.
