Hi Robert,
If you don't mind the size of it (shipping a tarball containing 60%
unused stuff...)
you could just modify the build procedure:
> tar xfj kdesdk-3.2.tbz2
> cd kdesdk-3.2
> ./configure
> cd umbrello && make && make install
But then again, all dialup users will yell...
