hi folks,

kde 2.3 will most probably not be in the next debian release (sarge). i
would really like umbrello to be in though, so i talked to the debian
kdesdk maintainer. he is my opinion, so i played around a little bit
with it. the problem i have is that i would need to create a tarball
that i can build umbrello from that doesn't contain the rest of the
kdesdk. so basically i have two possibilities:

- strip down the kdesdk tarball
- take the 1.1.1 tarball and apply the changes to the code from cvs

i tried version one, but the build is so integrated that it is very
hard to seperate umbrello from the rest.

i would really appreciate some advice from you guys, do you have any
suggstions on how to seperate the sources? do you think version2 would
work?

cu robert
