I really want to use the latest version.  So I just installed umbrello from CVS.  Same thing happened again.

So I did a 
   make uninstall
and I removed 
   .kde/share/config/umbrellorc
Then I did another
   make install.

No improvement.

I never installed the rpm on this system.  I had installed a previous CVS version, but I think the above steps should have removed it, yes?

This is now Mandrake 9.2 with KDE 3.1.3
