Ok, I finally think I am narrowing on the issue.
I need to rebuild the /usr/lib/qt3/plugin/designer/libqseditorplugin.so

Where dos on get the source to rebuild that ?  I should look for the rpm 
source of kdelibs that came with SuSE 9 ?
