Being able to remove added points from lines without removing the lines themselves would be useful.

The points I am discussing here are those added when the user double-clicks a line. They allow a line to be split into several connected lines.

I would expect that I can click on one of these points to select it and then hit the Delete key to remove it. However, trying this results in the entire polyline being deleted.
