If an instance of A calls setFoo() on an instance of B and setFoo() is
suddenly protected, this should yield an error. Same when setFoo() is
suddenly private but inheriting classes call setFoo().

You can try QWidget::raise(), but I think that only works in the widget
hierarchy, i.e. not on toplevel widgets. KWin::setActiveWindow() might be
better.
