It's kind of weird. I took a look at it too and also looked at some common
tools to find out, how they export templates. Summary goes like this:
Poseidon: no support for templates
Argo/UML: dito
Together: supports templates but does not export them into xmi files.
If I can, I'll check what Rose has to say about that, since it seems the
only way to find out the correct element.
Either the OMG chose a reilly awkward name for a template or they did not
think of that, since Java users don't need them that often. But I really
can't imagine, why they would do that.
