this should be off-list (OT), but there's a good reason for it :)

for some reason anything i send to your carpdjih at mailbox.tu-berlin.de address 
is bounced. i was hoping that the problem would correct itself eventually, 
but hasn't yet.

anyway, in response to your inquiry - i got it, i read it and now i'm even 
more confused than ever. not really, but i don't want to think about it right 
now. i managed to locate a source of unpublished OMG communications via the 
google cache and got ahold of some of the UML2.0 RFPs. (a quick search on 
google for "NEPTUNE bibliography" should turn it up). i read those too.

i think i like the way its organized. very efficient - but weird. i guess 
anything that's defined using the MOF can be defined to *be* the MOF. i also 
like the way that they're embracing component technology for the new mappings 
to IDL, Java etc. pretty cool. i also think they're about a year out of 
publication - that gives us plenty of time to catch up with real 1.4 stuff.

thanks for the reference. and no, i'm not putting them on the web :)
