It is a known issue, but the problem lies on Slackware. Because Slackware is
using an outdated buggy flex version. I allready drop a mail to the
Slackware maintainers to upgrade the package, but this won't happen before
the next release, because it isn't a security issue. In the meantime just
download the latest flex sources from sourceforge.net and compile it by
yourself. Don't forget to first uninstall the Slackware flex package. After
doing this Umbrello 1.1.1 should compile fine. Another solution would be to
use the Slackware 9 package for Umbrello 1.1.1 I made.
