If you use the KTextEditor interfaces (not the KTextEdit class), the user will
be able to use his preferred editing component. So far, Kate implements these
interfaces and I think KVim. Maybe the Gideon guys have some more
implementations (I think there's a qt-designer-based editor for Gideon).
