actually I think the "official" name of the project is "UML Modeller" and
that's how it has been marketed so far. the name "uml" is only the
"KDevelop-project" name, maybe because Paul was too lazy to type the whole
thing or because he doesnt like "-"' in files and directories names... =))

I like it!!

About Umbrello: hmm... the name doesnt say anything about the project itself..
I don't know, I guess I would like a name a little bit more descriptive...but
then again, the name (Umbrello) sounds nice.

About KUML: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
--> There are several reasons:
1) The name is horrible*
2) The name is horrible.* OK, so the program is a KDE application, but I dont
see why people like to put a big ugly K in front of all the program names...
I mean: if you can find a cool name that starts with a K, then great!!, use
it so that it "matches" with KDE (like Konqueror, sounds good and starts with
K)... If you dont find such a name, and the name you want has a "c" or a "k"
in it, convert it to a "K" or write it capilalized or sommeting as long as it
looKs kool... and if there are no "c"s to convert, then it's no problem..
just pick a nice name.
3) KUML is taken, I dont know if someone is still working in the project, but
still
4) The name is HORRIBLE*
* = no offense to the guys at KUML.. I just dont like the name.
