That's quite bizarre.  The PNG export uses exactly the same code as is
used to draw the diagram on the screen, except it's copied to a PNG
instead of the screen.  Nothing else is involved (and it only uses Qt).
If it's just this file you could send us that and see what's up with it.
Else I'm quite stuck.
