A few questions: Images in new database, flat database view

After playing around with the book database, I've started a second one 
for my sewing patterns. I did not see a template so I started a new one, 
but I don't see an option to add an image field. Am I missing something 
or do I need to dust off my rusty XML and tweak it in the back end.

One of the views I used a lot in Readerware was a flat view with data 
from each record displayed in a table format. Is this possible in 
Tellico? EI thought I might be able to use the filter pane for that, but 
the options seem to be either thumbnails or a list of titles with no 
other data visible (which is less than helpful when I've got multiple 
books with the same title but by different authors). If not, is there 
another way to see multiple fields from multiple books at the same time?

I'm still playing around with portability options, and haven't come to a 
conclusion yet.
