Thanks, it's helpful. Maybe it should be added to documentation? I would
probably not use it, as it would be a bit too much annoying to rename
the collection fields just for that. Maybe a better way would be just to
use a flag, or simply fall back to the second field in xml if none of
the named fields is present?

Yes, base64 embedded in the resulting xml.

I'm using Sway and before that XFCE. Just checked with Kile and it adds
automatically the .tex extension. However it's dialog is different than
the one in Tellico (it has sidebar with "places", "devices" and so on).
Kdevelop on the other hand has the same one as Tellico and doesn't add
any extension. Maybe a bug in KDE then.
Another possible idea: might be helpful to add a custom icon to external
scripts to make it easier to distinguish them in search window. On my
system they are just marked with an exclamation mark.
