Problem importing CSV file in book database

Hello Robby,

I have something strange happening on my Tellico database of books.

I tried to update some fields of the books database based on the ISBN#
code. So, I'm using a CSV file to do it : the first column with the ISBN
code and three other fields (personal fields). So, to do this, I was
using a merge option (not replace nor add new entries).

The .csv files had around 250 lines. The import updated 180 entries and
created 70 new ones, which weren't expected to be created. So, doubling
entries.

Investigating what happened. All of them were "97910xxx" ISBN codes.
ISBN codes in csv file were without dashes. Ex : 9791031902630.
Corresponding entry already in tellico database had code
979-1-03190-263-0. Entry added when importing csv file has code
979-10-319-0263-0.

If I try to create a new entry with this code, it will be
979-1-03190-263-0. So, it seems that code isn't dashed the same way when
entering in the GUI or importing from a CSV file.

Tellico version is 3.5.3, the version from Ubuntu 24. This is too old,
I'm thinking about compiling from source. Maybe this is an issue already
solved in new releases.

Best regards

José-Marcio
