Question about Images

[AH]

I know this seems a stupid question, but I don't seem to understand images are handled in Tellico.

I am using "Store images in the a path relative" ...

I have been placing images I have found in the image directory for my collection, and then selecting them when I edit a 
movie (for example).

I kind of would like to know if there is a way to show the file path for what I selected?

I find that I have multiple images of the cover in the folder now.

Is that because I exported the collection to an HTML or is that created when I save a record?

When I select an image is it automatically recopied into the directory and is it that file that is used?

I do use a custom field for covers because a previous import way in the past which I don't want to redo, but it seems to 
happen with standard cover as well.

Sorry for all the questions, but I just have trouble figuring it out.
