Issues with v4.0.1 via flatpak

Are other settings remembered, but just not that one? If so, that's pretty
weird. If it's a general problem of saving any settings, that may again be
related to the flatpak build.

Right, the user interface is built around that entry view, since I've
generally assumed that every user would need to see it. I can take a look
at what it would mean to make it hideable. The layout should be remembered
- so it sounds like that's the same issue, at least.
