Printing not sorted the same way as seem on the monitor

Robby,

First of all, thanks for Tellico. I'm using it on my Fedora 40 system.
The latest version from the Fedora repositories is 3.5.4.

I'm an avid public library user and use Tellico to keep track of the
books I've read and the books I want to read. A lot of the books I like
have recurring characters so I try to read all the books by any author
with the same characters in series order. When I sort the list of
books, I first sort on Series Number (1,2,3...), then on the Series (the
recurring character's name) and finally on author. It looks good on the
monitor. I also have a filter so I can see just the books I have not
yet read.

However, if I print the list it only sorts on the author's name. The
series and series number look like they might be in the order I
originally entered them. I'm guessing here but they are definitely not
in the order I see on my monitor. Also, if I select Print Preview under
the File menu it also only sorts on the author's name. The collection
is grouped by author so maybe that's all that counts when it comes to
printing.

My expectation is that it would print in the same order I see on my
monitor, but perhaps I'm misunderstanding something.

After typing all that I tried one more thing. I generated a Group View
report and printed that. It was sorted as I wanted. It came out
exactly as I saw on the screen. I guess that's the way to do it.
