Barcode scanning batch input

Hi,
I'm trying to batch scan in a series of ISBN barcodes in ver 3.4.2. I'm
unable to "check' the Multiple ISBN/UPC search" box to bring up the "edit"
box. Don't know if it's me or the program. I don't see anyplace other than
from the "Internet Search" screen to access this function. Can anyone point
me toward a solution? I'm on Fedora 35 with KDE Plasma 5.22.5 and
Frameworks 5.85.0.
