Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm looking for the string "<isbn>xxxxxxx</isbn>" and replacing the contents of xxxxx by the new value ONLY if xxxxx is 
an ISBN-10.

But I'll check if this is what's happening. Never sure about bugs... :-D

Either way, I'm using Tellico version 3.2, the one which comes with Ubuntu. I'll probably try to get the last one and 
compile it myself.
