Regular expressions in numeric fields

I just tried the same in our second machine, also with Tellico 3.1.2, but
there is the same problem.
For example, when I open de advanced filter dialog:
I can not enter something so simple as the regular expressions  \S   or
\w.
I can insert numbers and the '+' sign too.
No more.
