Apllication Crashes on Startup

Hey,
I'm using debian stretch and tellico crashes on startup. I think I have
pretty much the same problem as described in this thread:
https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/tellico-users/2018-September/001379.html

But unfortunately I'm not able to get a more recent version running. I
don't see a debian package for the 2.3.12 release and the 3.x series
semms not to work with debian stretch.

Do you have any recommondations?
