Hosting the id3lib website?

Hi folks --

Back before I started working on TagLib I did some work on id3lib.  id3lib at that time was fairly widely used, but hasn't been updated in the last 14 years and at this point is effectively dead.  The last maintainer of id3lib contacted me a couple days ago to ask if I'd like to have the id3lib domain to redirect to TagLib.

What I'd thought might make more sense would be to still host at least the id3lib API documentation at something like taglib.org/id3lib with a large notice that it has been deprecated in favor of TagLib at the top of every page.

Is anyone opposed to that plan?
