Donation question

I'm using taglib in a project of mine. Am I allowed to accept donations for
the project? If so, I'd split the donations 50/50. I'm not a big developer,
so I don't think my project will become successful. If I did get a donation
though, I'd like to know if this is allowed ahead of time.
