Windows build - equivalent of 'make install'?

Sadly nmake doesn't work with the makefiles. 'nmake install' immediately dies with

	install(2) : fatal error U1034: syntax error : separator missing

As a workaround, I copied the include folder from a Mac that had done a 'make install'.
