I am unclear on what the recommended method of locating taglib on windows i=
s when using the msys environment. There also appears to be a taglib-config=
script but I am not sure how that is related to pkg-config.
Assuming a bug does need to be raised I should be able to submit a patch (a=
ssuming I can figure out how you go about generating one and what QA I need=
to perform). It just seems to be removing an IF statement in the root CMak=
eLists.txt

Hi=2C<br><br>I have successfully built the latest release of taglib under m=
sys/mingw. I used the install target to install the files after build which=
appeared to succeed.<br>I did use a custom install prefix but I don't thin=
k it causes the issue I am having.<br><br>I am currently implementing a pro=
gram linking against taglib. It uses cmake as a build system. My applicatio=
n uses pkg-config to locate the taglib installation to link against.<br>How=
ever pkg-config was failing and after some investigation I discovered that =
my installation directory was missing taglib.pc.<br>taglib_c.pc was install=
ed (which 'Requires' taglib so it is a bit useless).<br><br>This appears to=
be down to some lines in CMakeLists.txt which exclude taglib.pc from insta=
llation on the WIN32 platform.<br><br>Is this a bug that I should be report=
ing via the kde bug tracker ?<br><br>I figure that either both taglib_c.pc =
and taglib.pc need to be installed for WIN32 or neither.<br><br>From a pers=
