Hi I am mailing you about this bug:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130185

Can you please tell me what is going on regarding this issue? As I
understand it - it is fixed but via a hack that is not in upstream
main source code.

Please make this bug fix applied in latest source code and PLEASE make
new version available of taglib as soon as possible.

We need this right now because Fedora 7, SUSE 10.3 and new Ubuntu are
right around the corner and I would like all new linux distros to have
WORKING podcast client - ie. Amarok.

Is there ANY way that I and the rest of the community can persuade you
and the rest od tablib developers to push this patched version out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but packages in opensource push out patched
versions usually as soon as the patch is available. Ok, this is
usually in security part of the linux, but it seams logical to do it
also for all broken parts of it too. I'm not knowable enough in
workings of development teams so I don't know if I should plead/beg
you to do this or is that the obligation of the fedora/suse/ubuntu
package maintainers?

I would really like to see a working version of amarok compiled for
working taglig.

So please, please, pretty please make this available.

I'm really very grateful for all of your hard work that you put in this project!

Valent from Croatia.
