Qt notification plugin

Hi guys,

Not knowing your project until recently, I've started to implement the basics of a pluggable notification system in qtbase last year.

I was wondering if you'd like to join forces so we could have a common base for the platform specific parts integrated directly in Qt and Snorenotify providing additional plugins like e.g. Growl support.

What do you think ?
