Many thanks for the backtrace. It seems to show the failure location quite
clearly, although that still does not make a lot of sense to me.

I still cannot reproduce, also not with KF6 6.29.0, also not on a different
machine. Could you check for any leftover syntax definitions on your machines?
  - find /usr ~ -name 'rkward.xml'

If you type something in the R Console, directly (and RKWard does not yet
crash), do you get syntax highlighting, there?
