Yes, this is looks suspiciously similar to #523145 .

The relevant difference between the 0.8.3 appimage and the master appimage is
most likely in the frameworks versions (0.8.3 was built against KF 6.24.0).

Some other ingredient must still be required, however. I still cannot
reproduce, also not with the latest appimage from master. The rkward.frontend
file also does not show anything suspicous. It simply ends where the line is
actually pasted into the console window.

Does the content of what you submit matter at all? For completeness, could you
post a short example command that crashes? Do things like single blank lines,
or e.g. plain numbers also cause a crash?
