in principle, this sounds good, and you're quite welcome to submit our
AppImage for publication in that pool (or wherever else - it's free
software, after all)!

The more difficult step is to keep the information up to date, in the
long term. Making releases is a heavily bureaucratic exercise, already,
and such updates are simply something that we _will_ forget. You are
right in pointing out that this particular process could be automated,
if our AppImages were hosted on github. Alas, that's not the case (and
I'm not sure that can easily be done).
