Hi!
Did you receive my reply to your other mail?
Again (with some updates):
Admittedly, the situation *is* confusing, ATM. Our latest "official"
binary for Mac (0.7.2) will not work correctly with R 4.1.3, thus the
best option is to install the nightly development snapshot:
https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/MacOS/job/RKWard_Nightly_macos/
This is currently suffering from a number of Mac-specific problems.
Importantly, there is a crash when selecting any statistics GUI features
from the menu. I'm looking into a solution, and will get back to you.
Meanwhile the package is not recommendable, unless you plan to use the
IDE features, only.
Also, note that the binary is signed but not notarized by Apple, which
means you will have to:
1. Ctrl+click while opening the DMG, and select "Open" after the
warning, that Apple cannot check for malicious contents
2. Ctrl+click RKWard in Finder when starting it the first time, *again*.
Again select "Open" after the warning.
After that RKWard can be started, normally.
Regards
Thomas
