Hi!

A new release of RKWard is coming up, and now is the time to take care
of the last few rough edges. Please help us with this, if you have some
time to spare.

I think it's safe to go with a rather short testing period this time,
and so I'd like to ask you to provide feedback by February 28.
Naturally, if anything important comes up, the testing period will be
extended as necessary. More details and download links at
https://rkward.kde.org/Release_Schedule .

Key new features to look out for, are:
- RKWard is now 100% translatable. This does not mean it is 100%
translated into your language, yet, but this is finally possible.
- The management of active plugins was reworked. Test Settings->Manage
R packages and plugins->Manage RKWard plugins . If you need even more
flexibility, take a look at the R function rk.set.plugin.status().
- The plugin for importing cvs / text data has been reworked from
scratch, and also all distributions calculators (densities /
  quantiles / probabilities).
- The Analysis->Power Analysis plugin is now part of the distribution
(previously available as a separate download).

--- Translators ---

In case you've missed it: We are moving to KDE.org, and translations
are already managed, there. Your existing translations files should
have been imported. If you have not done so, yet, get in touch with
your KDE language team (http://l10n.kde.org/teams-list.php).

This also means that calls for translations are no longer sent to this
list! https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-i18n-doc is the list
for this, now.

--- RKWard on TeaP ---

For those attending Teap in Hildesheim, in early March, you may be
interested to learn that there is a symposium "R: Statistics at your
command" on March 11, 9:00 - 10:30, and this includes a presentation on
RKWard.

Thanks!
Thomas
