Anyway, you can use this PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~rkward-devel/+archive/rkward-stable . This should work
in the current case.

(However, at times it is necessary to use a version of RKWard that was *compiled*
against the latest version of R. This is not currently covered by our PPA).
