@m-eik: Good idea to simply use the relative path. One note for the record, regarding the network share: This will also make the R library directory read-only, so users cannot install packages, there. On the other hand, users can simply add a local library using Settings->Configure RKWard->R packages->R Library locations.
@kapatp: On windows, KDE (and rkward) stores its settings in the user\'s \"Application Data\" folder. the \".rkward\"-directory is placed in the user\'s \"Documents and Settings\"-folder by default. Thus, both should be read-write even in this setup. (As a side note: This also means that if there are several installations of KDE or RKWard on the machine, they will share one set of configuration flles).
