Open a script editor, then select Settings->Configure Editor->Open/Save. Make
sure "End of line" is set to UNIX. This option only affects newly created files.
To make sure the DOS carriage return gets pruned even from files that already
have it, uncheck the "Automatic end of line detection" option.
