Hi,

I am guessing that you are using the 0.4.9* version (KDE3's version). It is
a known issue which has been fixed in the 0.5 (KDE4's) version. And if IRC,
it was difficult to backport this "fix" under KDE3. Unfortunately the released
0.5.0 version has a lot of other issues with new KDE 4 APIs and new R. But the
trunk from svn, which many of us are using, is pretty stable.

So, if you have the luxury to opt for a KDE4 environment try it out. If not,
well, as I have to on a RedHat machine, live with the 0.4.9 version. Even in
that case, the svn release branch of 0.4.9 has some welcome updates on top of
the actual released version.

If you need help in trying out either of the svn versions, feel free to ask.
