[rkward-users] [rkward - Help] keyboard / focus / xubuntu problem?

Hi there,

I working quite much with rkward (imho the best GUI for R), but i have the following
problem.
 - occasionally can't "run all" by F9, can't copy/paste 
 - still can type (but sometimes my text ends up in the interactive console
window, instead of the script editor window)
 - although i'm still in editor window the icon menus change to something that
is usually if the focus is on the console window
 - changing focus a few times between script editor/console window solves the
problem.

I vaguely remember that some 3-4 years ago similar problem devastated my ubuntu
(non-responding keys, lost focus), but i am not sure if it is related...

anyhow, does anyone have any  tip if its a rkward or rather a xubuntu problem?
(no similar problems with other applications though...)

specs : 
- Xubuntu 8.04 running on VMware from win XP
- rkward 0.4.9 , KDE 3.5.10
