that's for intrepid.

i've built a package from the same sources on a hardy system as well. but 
intrepid installs kde4 as default (prefix is /usr), whereas hardy comes with 
kde3 and the ability to install kde4 as well. all kde4 stuff in hardy is 
therefor installed (aka prefix) to /usr/lib/kde4, with e.g. the 
data_install_dir then being /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/apps. [i'm serious...]

so, just alter the paths in the rules file depending on your kubuntu version 
and you should be fine. on hardy, you might have to "export 
PATH=$PATH:/usr/lib/kde4/bin" before calling dpkg-buildpackage, otherwise 
kde4 won't be found.
