[rkward-users] [rkward - Help] Rkward compatible with Intrepid Ibex ?

Hi, I wrote about this in this list a bit earlier.

The solution proposed in the single responce you have received before
mine is a solution to a different problem.

What I had to do was - recompile the package without using the rules for
building package in ubuntu.

That is dirty, I know, but that was the best I could do...

Here is what you have to do:

# install the rkward build dependencies
sudo apt-get build-dep rkward
# remove the damaged rkward
sudo apt-get remove rkward
## do not remove the packages that apt-get will suggest to remove after this
# get the sources of rkward - regular download, or the debian way:
apt-get source rkward
#now, go into rkward-* directory, find the INSTALL or README file and
follow the prescribed procedure to build and install the package..

After that you might still have to deal with the missing plugins
problem: see the thread proposed to you earlier.
