Thanks for your answer.
I have researched a little further. As far as I can tell kdesu was replaced
in ubuntu 7.10 with a command called kdesudo. It appears the '-t' option was
lost in the process, perhaps the good people at ubuntu/canonical disregarded
it because it's a debug option? After all, who needs debugging if your work
is perfect? ;)
