Initial Comment:
windows users sometimes need to set the option "setInternet2(TRUE)" to get internet access through a proxy. this should be implemented as a checkbox option in RKWard's R backend configuration dialog (windows version only).

recent workaround: write that call into the options field and restart RKWard.
