Rename the icons files to hi... This will make theminstall in hicolor instead of crystalsvg.
The reason is that crystalsvg seems(?) to be no longer used by a default KDE, while hicolor is the fallback theme.
Since these are the only icons we got, they should always be available as the fallback option.
