starting rkward with root priveleges in opensuse leap 15.5

Hello, 
Could you please tell me  if it is possible to start rkward 0.7.5 [ from opensuse R-release repo]  
as root .
I tried using --no-sandbox and starting rkward from a root session or via kdesu -c ' rkward --no-
sandbox'

All attempts fail .
